Cathedral City event to address climate change

The Palms to Pines Chapter of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) is holding a town hall event at the Cathedral City Library from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21. The event will serve as a platform for open discussions surrounding climate change challenges and solutions, featuring Democratic candidate Will Rollins, who is vying for the CA District 41 Congressional seat in 2024. The library is at 33520 Date Palm Drive in Cathedral City.

Rollins, a former federal prosecutor specializing in counterterrorism and counterintelligence cases in Southern California, is set to share insights into his campaign as a Democratic candidate for Congress in 2024.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit organization committed to influencing elected officials to take decisive action on climate change. The lobby is nonpartisan, welcoming members from both Democratic and Republican backgrounds. The upcoming town hall provides an opportunity for attendees to delve into the organization’s mission, learn about ongoing initiatives and discover the various ways they can actively participate in driving positive change.
