Pine Cove Water District’s Board of Directors has approved the purchase of the lot on Franklin and Highway 243 adjacent to their Foster Lake works. Office Manager Jennifer Hayes, in an email to the Town Crier, wrote: “On Wednesday, March 19, 2024 the Pine Cove Water District Board of Directors entered into a Closed Session to discuss Real Property Negotiations for the vacant lot on the corner of Franklin and Highway 243, APN 560-101-015. The board came back into Open Session with the following statement: The Board has approved the purchase of said property at $80,000 plus $1,000 closing cost and approved General Manager Jeremy Potter to move forward with the acquisition.”
