Wave Leith Wilson, 87, of Idyllwild, died of cancer on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000, in Hemet.

Mrs. Wilson was born Oct. 27, 1912 to Frederick W. and Ethel May Andrews in Hollywood.

She graduated from Hollywood High School and attended Los Angeles City College. Later she attended College of the Desert.

She was a concert pianist, church organist, outstanding accompanist and respected teacher.

She married Lawrence B. Wilson Sr. on July 22, 1933. They lived in Eagle Rock for 30 years and she has lived in Idyllwild for 37 years.

She leaves a stepson, Lawrence B. Wilson Jr.; a daughter, Wave Laurene Sickafoose; a granddaughter, Misty Wave McKinley and her husband Rick McKinley; and a great-granddaughter, Lauren Mae McKinley.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband. She will be intered with him at Riverside National Cemetery.
