A Celebration of Life for Wayne Parker was held Friday afternoon, March 8, in the Fireside Room at the Idyllwild Arts Academy campus. Parker worked for the school and the Idyllwild Town Crier.

CCC worker airlifted from Marian Mountain Trail
According to Mark Barr, Battalion Chief with CalFire, a 20-year-old female working with a CCC crew had back spasms and was airlifted to the Keenwild Helipad from Marian Mountain Trail on Thursday morning. Idyllwild Fire, CalFire Station 23, RSO, Battalion 2 hand crew from CalFire and USFS all responded to the incident.
COVID-19 update: Idyllwild-Pine Cove still holding at three
Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is still reporting three confirmed COVID-19 cases for Idyllwild-Pine Cove. The number has not increased since April 6 when the number jumped from one to two. The first confirmed case in Idyllwild-Pine Cove was April 3. As of April 21 at 1 p.m., Riverside County has 2,960 confirmed COVID-19 cases….
