On April 1, Capt. Mike Mulhall retired from the Idyllwild Fire Protection District. He had served 28 years. He was known throughout the community and county. Congressman Raul Ruiz and Supervisor Jeff Stone, as well as his colleagues at the Idyllwild Fire Department and members of the Idyllwild Fire Commission, acknowledged his retirement and service to the agency and community.
