Ethel
Ethel

Ethel is ready to move on as long as she has a very active family or a young canine playmate to grow up with. This young girl is under 1, and loves to play and run. She is a quick learner as she has already mastered sit and stay. Leash training was a piece of cake (or bone.) Ethel is not a barker unless she sees a feline. So no cats, please. Oh, and she’s doggy-door and house-trained, too. Grab your leash and start walking.

Archie

Such a handsome fellow he is. Archie is learning how to be his own dog now that he doesn’t feel obligated to protect Bella. He is in training and will be ready for adoption soon. Let’s try to give Archie the best new home, too, just like Bella. He loves the leash, is potty-trained and is good in the car. Of course, he loves to be groomed and loved. He is about 5 years old.

Boomer, Bill and Whiskers

Boomer on the table, Bill on the top level and Whiskers are sitting close to the door just in case that special someone comes in for them. Who will be first? Boomer is the youngest at 1-1/2, and Whiskers and Bill are about 2. All are male and are good with other felines. Boomer actually likes the canine crowd. They are still young enough to play but enjoy just hanging around. They’re good fly catchers, too. Currently, there’s a special on all cats in the ARF cattery.

We have several pets on our website in assisted adoption, also. Be sure to look us up on Facebook, too.

ARF has many cats and dogs available for adoption or fostering. Go to www.arfidyllwild.weebly.com and click on Petfinder. All pets are spayed, neutered and current on shots. ARF is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.

Creature corner is sponsored by Brent Skeane, this week. To sponsor the column, call Lisa Streeter at the Town Crier, 951-659-2145.

    Winter is Coming

By Marsha Kennedy Idyllwild Snow Group During the 2016-2017 winter, the behavior of many snow-play visitors was appalling.
