A couple of lost dogs were reunited with their humans on this busy holiday, which made for a good weekend. And, the concerns of the young men who found a baby kitty in a woodshed soon became a success story as they found the perfect family to love and care for their little found ball of fur. Good job boys.

Good job boys. IsabellaEvery cattery has to have a “diva,” and ours is Isabella, the calico. An “only child” all of her life, this 3-year-old is wondering how and why she is even in this orphanage. She is a strikingly beautiful creature and her tricolored coat will dazzle you as she cuddles quietly in your lap, as if to say, “Yes, you can pet me.” Her sweet purrs will bring a soothing song to your ears. You will find yourself wanting to just keep petting her soft coat of fur as she relaxes in your arms. Isabella’s wish is that when you are reading this, you will realize she needs to be rescued, and that she will, once again, have her own human (and pillow). LeonardCall him Mr. Mom! Leonardo keeps a watchful eye on Dawn and Dusk, the youngest kitties at the ARF house. Still a teenager himself, Leonardo is the perfect match for the siblings’ antics. What a trio. Found: Almost all black male cat near Fireside Inn in Idyllwild. Blue collar. Please call ARF at (951) 659-1122 to identify. Abandoned on the ARF front porch in a cardboard box, alone and afraid, was a beautiful female Maine coon tabby mix we are calling Sweet Pea. A soft mixture of gray, black and white, she will be available soon for adoption. A reminder: It is against the law to abandon your animals. Without a medical record, we have no record of prior vaccinations and rabies shots, which could result in over inoculation.
Editor: With all due respect, in the Town Crier, Sept. 13, issue, Dr. Haddad made a few statements that caused me concern: “The issue is what’s legal.” “If you don’t like our laws, change them. It’s your right.” As we have seen over decades of politics in this country, especially apparent during this administration, the…
