Brendan Steele shot an even-par 72 Sunday in the final round of the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina. He finished in a tie for 9th, his third top-10 and his seventh top-25 in 15 starts so far this season.

For the tournament, the native Idyllwilder found only 48.2 percent of the fairways, but his drives averaged 319.5 yards (he pounded one 337 on Sunday), and he reached 79.2 percent of the greens in regulation, while gaining 0.110 strokes putting on the field.

Steel picked up 72.5 FedExCup points and now has 696 for the season, ranking 38th on that list. He also collected $184,600 in official prize money, bringing him to more than $1.2 million for the season.

Steele is not scheduled to play this week.
