Three Hill residents at Tommy’s Kitchen recently welcomed and congratulated Adrian Abbott (center) from Llantwit Major, Wales, on winning Special Olympics medals. From left, Patti Cooper, Steve Taylor, Adrian, Denise McGregor and Adrian’s father Anthony Abbott, also of Wales. Adrian is part of the Great Britain Kayaking Team and won a Bronze Medal in the individual 500 meter kayaking event and a Silver Medal in the individual 200 meter kayaking event. St. Hugh’s Episcopal Church provides free warm lunches every Thursday to anyone who needs them. More than 850 meals have been served since the program began, usually serving 10 to 20 people a week thanks to the food donations of Diane Johnson of Fairway Foods and bread donations of Brewster Tapp of Strawberry Creek Bakery. In appreciation, Diane was presened a plaque last Wednesday at Fairway. From left, Fr. Dan Rondeau, Brewster, Christina Nordella, who started the program, Diane and Neil Passage. Fr.
