lf-2 — Every kind of animal — dogs, cats, sheep and, in this case, an Akbash, receive individual care and attention at Living Free Animal Sanctuary. Elmo likes the company of sheep better than other dogs so he lives in quiet harmony at the sanctuary surrounded by his woolly friends.

lf-3 — Steve Carlson, director of Living Free, welcomes hundreds of visitors to its annual “It’s All About the Animals” Open House. There are currently 38 dogs and more than 100 adoptable cats at the sanctuary.
