![Idyllwild art therapist Karla Leopold was in Baton Rouge using art to help families displaced by torrential rains and floods work through their trauma. This is one 9-year-old boy’s picture and account of what happened to him and his family. He wrote, “The water was a little bit and then it went up and up. And went up 5 feet! It rained three days and then again and again and again. It’s my mom my dad and my grandma my brother and my sister in the house. Everything is lost at our house even our TV. The green is the mold. I am in the picture in the house. I lost my PlayStation two [it’s at the right in the drawing].”Photo courtesy Karla Leopold](https://idyllwildtowncrier.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/karla-1.jpg)
