To the gentleman who requested chiropractors cover veterans in Idyllwild: When I read your letter in the Town Crier asking chiropractors to join the Veterans Choice Program, I called Idyllwild Health Center since they were covered. Neither of us had any knowledge of such an organization as Choice. I didn’t know where else to look.
I received a call from Tricare Feb. 20, and was sent an enrollment packet. I sent it back the same day.
I am probably not the only chiropractor who has done this. I wanted you to know we do care and want to treat veterans.
Up until now, we have not been allowed coverage. Had I seen your second letter in the Town Crier offering the phone number, I would have done it sooner.
Because of you and your letter to the Town Crier, things will be changing on the Hill.
