A Pine Cove man suffered 2nd degree burns to his upper body and was flown to a local hospital. The man was a walk-in to Cal Fire’s Pine Cove Station 23 Saturday at 11:39 a.m.
Teri Blackburn, who had pleaded guilty to elder abuse last month, was sentenced to 60 months of probation as well as being committed to the custody of the Riverside Sheriff’s Department for 363 days. Blackburn was originally arrested in Pine Cove last October. She pleaded guilty on June 27.
