Caltrans District 8 has released a video warning of sudden road closures due to rainfall, which could cause dangerous conditions along highways 243 and 74. The video states that the possibility of closures could be the reality for Hill residents for the next several years until vegetation has regrown.
The American Red Cross intends to close the evacuation shelter at Hamilton High School today at noon. The shelter opened on July 27 for residents who lost electricity due to the Cranston Fire.
