**Gelece Huckleby**, who has served with the Mountain Center Post Office for the past three years, left March 26 for a new post as senior clerk with the U.S. Post Office in Denver, where her grandmother resides. Gelece, known as “Le-Lee” to her friends, has a three-week vacation coming this August, which she plans to spend back here on our Hill, saying, “This is where my friends are.”

Idyllwild Community Acupuncture marks Chinese New Year

Many residents attended a Chinese New Year celebration held by Idyllwild Community Acupuncture on Friday, Jan. 27. Free 20-minute acupuncture treatments, massages and Jin Shin Jystsu sessions were offered. Proceeds of donations are to benefit Breanna Lewis, 12, who will participate in the 2012 Irish Dance World Competition in Ireland.
