The Laramie Project

Idyllwild Arts presents The Laramie Project, a powerful play exploring the community of Laramie, Wyoming, in the wake of Matthew Shepard’s 1998 murder. Drawn from more than 200 real-life interviews, the production examines humanity’s capacity for both intolerance and compassion. This moving, documentary-style performance incorporates live musical elements, offering a poignant reflection on love, empathy, and the enduring need to confront hate.
