Idyllwild local Brendan Steele established himself as a major contender in his rookie season on the PGA Tour by winning his first major tournament, the 2011 Valero Texas Open. Steele earned $1,116,000 with his win. -

Sports: Town Hall Youth Volleyball
The first ever Town Hall youth co-ed volleyball game was played Friday night, April 13. Playing volleyball, other than for Idyllwild School, is a new opportunity for the kids on the Hill.
