    Firefighters rescue injured hiker

    Cal Fire/Riverside County firefighters responded to reports of an injured hiker at Deer Springs Trail and Suicide Rock Trail after receiving a report at 8:46 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26. Firefighters hiked the victim out to an awaiting ambulance. The victim refused medical treatment after being evaluated by paramedics. The injuries were reported as minor.
