Former Hill resident Linda Dombroski, 55, of Desert Hot Springs, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, in Palm Springs.

Ms. Dombroski was born June 3, 1944, in Mobile, Ala., to Franklin T. and Elsie Stinson Holden.

She was a waitress at Denny’s Restaurant and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Memorial services will be private and handled by Palm Springs Mortuary in Cathedral City.

She is survived by three sisters, Frankie Sue Keil of Sacramento, Sarah of Tennessee and Kay Coan of Tucumcari, N.M.; two daughters, Frankie Mashak of Desert Hot Springs and Gina Moore of Walthourville, Ga.; three sons, Matthew Nunn of Idyllwild, Gabriel Cuevas of Hemet and Samson Cuevas of San Diego; and her mother, Elsie Rabin of Palm Springs.

The family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 74-140 El Paseo Dr., Ste. 1, Palm Desert, CA 92260.
