Last night, the Idyllwild Water District directors again chose Allan Morphett as president and Warren Monroe as vice-president. This duo has overseen the district since their election as officers in 2005.Both joined the IWD board in December 2003.

Pinyon Fire contained
The Pinyon Fire was fully contained this morning. CAL FIRE, Riversidee County Fire Depatment has stationed an engine and crew at the scene today. The fire, which started Friday, before 2:30 p.m., eventually burned seven acres, but no structures were damaged or threatened.
