is it free to get in and do u have to have a helmet?
That is a great question.
The park is open every day 10am-dusk, unless the ramps are wet.
Yes, it is free to skate. Although we are always grateful for any tax-deductible donations that help provide insurance and park maintenance.
California law requires that anyone under the age of 18 wear a helmet while operating a bicycle, scooter, skateboard, or in-line skates. So yes a helmet is required. If you are over 18 there is no law that you have to wear a helmet, but we suggest that for your safety and to be a good example to the younger riders, you always wear all proper safety gear.
If a rider needs to borrow a helmet or other safety gear, please feel free to call the number that is listed on the sign at the skate park.
