By

Santa’s Mail Box is now at the Idyllwild Post Office ready to receive letters from local children. Santa’s helper elves and postal clerks Christina Edwards and Kelsi Lehman present the box all ready for the first letters to Santa. Accompanying the elves are Postmaster Kelly Gates (far right) and the Town Crier production staff, Halie Johnson and James Larkin. Children may mail their letters to Santa up until noon Monday, Dec. 19, in order to reach the North Pole in time for Christmas. And every year, Santa gives the Town Crier permission to print some of the letters he receives from Idyllwild boys and girls in the newspaper. Photo by Cid Castillo

The Idyllwild Chamber Booth was virtually near pandemonium with the availability of the popular Visitor Guides and multiple photo-ops for families and school groups with Idyll-Beast, according to Jerome. “Idyllwild is the only resort community represented at the fair this year,” the Beast reported.
