Danielle McKnight, Hemet High School 2011 graduate, was named to the dean’s list at the Maine Maritime Academy for outstanding academic achievement in the first semester of the 2011-12 academic year. McKnight , a member of the class of 2015, is majoring in marine engineering technology.

His mother Lori (Friemoth) Richter worked for IFPD and Brandon was four or five years old. Hemet High School senior Erec VonSeggern received a $2,000 performance grant from the Hemet Community Concert Association. He performed the second movement from John La Montaine’s “Sonata for Solo Flute.” Erec will attend Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis., as a music major.
