Danielle McKnight, Hemet High School 2011 graduate, was named to the dean’s list at the Maine Maritime Academy for outstanding academic achievement in the first semester of the 2011-12 academic year. McKnight , a member of the class of 2015, is majoring in marine engineering technology.

Hemet High School senior Danika Hitchcock advanced the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Finals in the triple jump. At the May 11, Southern Section prelims, she finished fourth in the triple jump and 27th in the long jump.
