Vehicles driving Hwy. 243 between South Circle Drive and County Park Road had to wait or go around the scene of a rollover crash today, in which no one was injured. The crash happened when Maria Loutzenhiser lost control of her SUV and it rolled on the Highway around 3:15 this afternoon. The road was clear by 4 p.m. Loutzenhiser and her children were not injured.

At about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, power lines went down across Tollgate Road near Delano Drive due to extreme weather conditions. A small fire was sparked due to the live wires. Idyllwild Fire responded to a roll-over traffic collision around midnight on Halloween night. According to CHP Officer Mike Murawski, Taylor Browning of Idyllwild was traveling north on Highway 243 near Jameson Drive when he lost control rolling his Ford truck. Browning was uninjured and was arrested for driving under the influence.
