Jim Crandall provided this report on the Feb. 17 Palms to Pines Golf Association tournament:

The club held its regular monthly tournament at The Golf Club at Rancho California.

There was a four-way tie for first place between John Brower (course handicap 10), John LoGiudice (23), Bill Sanborn (28) and Bob Stearns (24) all with net scores of 74. And there was a two-way tie for fifth place between Wayne Sleme (28) and Les Widerynski (17) both with net scores of 76. Of the four closest to the pin contests on the par 3s, two were won by Greg Piersol, one by LoGiudice and one by Brower.
