Hemet High Mountain Biking

mtn.bike — Emma Klingaman, Hemet High School, finished second overall in last week’s Power the Pinnacles mountain bike race at Lake Arrowhead. Emma helped lead her Hemet High School team to its third consecutive SoCal Cycling League team title. Emma’s time this year on the same course was nearly 10 minutes faster than last year. At Saturday’s cross-counrty race at Mt. Carmel, the Hemet High School boys did very well. The Idyllwild contingent, all sophomores, display their medals. The runners and their places are Tanner Torrez (36), Jayden Emerson (6), Nick Browen (72) and Chad Schelly (44). Hemet was sixth overall out of 25 schools throughout Riverside and San Diego counties.
