Idyllwild runners place in cross country meets
At Saturday’s cross-counrty race at Mt. Carmel, the Hemet High School boys did very well. The Idyllwild contingent, all sophomores, display their medals. The runners and their places are Tanner Torrez (36), Jayden Emerson (6), Nick Browen (72) and Chad Schelly (44). Hemet was sixth overall out of 25 schools throughout Riverside and San Diego counties.
Steele qualifies for U.S. Open
Brendan Steele stayed in Ohio after last week’s Memorial Tournament to play a qualifying round on Monday for this year’s $10 million U.S. Open.
