This Sunday: First double bill at Idyllwild Authors Series: Amy Friedman and Dennis Danziger
from CHP The California Highway Patrol is reporting that Highway 74 west of Cahuilla Way is closed to to a big rig and road hazard. The closure came at 12:37 p.m. Monday.
About 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, an unidentified man from Hemet apparently had a seizure and drove his white 2005 Toyota Corolla into a parked silver 2015 Honda Civic on Ridgeview Drive, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Graham Annestad. The Civic was parked in front of Suburban Propane. The Corolla driver was transported by Idyllwild Fire ambulance to Hemet Valley Medical Center in stable condition. No other occupants were involved as there were no passengers in the Corolla and the Desert Hot Springs owners of the parked Civic were not able to be located. Idyllwild Garage towed both considerably damaged vehicles.
