Friends of Diane Olsen are invited to gather at the Nature Center, 25225 Highway 243, at 6 p.m. July 26, to celebrate the life of this extraordinary woman.
Please bring a potluck dish and perhaps a memory of Diane to share.
Apart from her children and grandchildren, Diane’s primary passions in life were the children she nurtured in her profession as a school nurse at Jurupa Elementary School and elsewhere, the rescue dogs she got from ARF, and the Idyllwild Nature Center, particularly the children’s books she cherished in Diane’s Book Corner.
Into these passions she poured her enormous creative talents for a memorial at ARF, and at the Nature Center, to set up a scholarship for children of the Jurupa Elementary School to bring them for future visits to the Nature Center. Nothing would please Diane more than to have her love for children and animals continue in this way.
