Town Hall Sports Coordinator Richard Mozeleski gave this report:

We are off and running with 80-plus and on the way to 90 kids, with the addition of “Friday Night Lights.”

The sixth- through 12th-grade coeds played on two courts simultaneously and non-stop for two-and-half hours last Friday night.

Also, we have three kindergarten through third-grade teams, and four fourth- through fifth-grade teams.

We’ve had tough, but not league-ending difficulties, starting with having to replace the loss of the hard-working Jeremy Teegaurden.

Our uniform order came to us wrong — in soccer instead of basketball and without numbers. We decided to go forward because anymore delays would not have helped on an already tough start.

We are waiting on a new clock and making do the best we can.

But kids are playing and teenagers are, for the first time in a while, getting a chance to play some on-the-Hill sports.

If you’re bored on a Friday night, come on out and watch some terrific competition — if you can find a seat.
