The Astonomical Society of the Desert will conduct sky tours and direct observations of the night sky through telescopes and giant binoculars from 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 5.

Idyllwild Contemporary Book Club

For its inaugural reading, this new book club will launch into Barbara Kingsolver’s “Flight Behavior.”

The first meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27, either at the Idyllwild Library or Nature’s Wisdom.
