coutuRaymond, born July 11, 1944, died at home Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, of pancreatic cancer. His son Richard, a resident of Colorado, was by his side.

Ray received loving care from Hospice of the Valley. In addition to his son, Ray is survived by his sisters Sister Elaine Coutu and Anne Fisher; his beloved dog Scooter; an aunt in Florida; several cousins; a niece and nephews; and extended family.

Ray was an active member of Holy Spirit parish, and the Knights of Columbus. He served in the Air Force and was employed for many years as a registered nurse at Hemet Valley Medical Center.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Church in Hemet at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Spirit Church, the Knights of Columbus or the Pro Life Movement in Hemet would be welcomed.
