The 41st-annual Inland Theatre League Awards Ceremony, honoring performances from 2015, was held Sunday, March 20.
Isis Theatre Company, now Idyllwild Actors Theatre, received two wins for a performance in February 2015: Howard Shangraw as Andrew and Suzanne Avalon as Melissa in “Love Letters.”
The Stratford Players won three awards for the September 2015 production of “The Lion in Winter.” Allen Purchis won as Henry II, Christopher Morse as Geoffrey and Kathleen Walker as Eleanor of Aquitaine.

Friday night at the Marine Memorial Club in San Francisco, Becky Clark, former Town Crier editor and publisher, thanks Will Fleet, Fresno Bee publisher, for his tenure as president of the California Press Association. At the dinner, Clark also assumed her two-year term as the new association president.
Zachary Lattin, of Idyllwild, received Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, cum laude, from the LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. The New York International Wine Competition awarded Idyllwild’s Middle Ridge Winery Temecula Valley Red Wine Winery of the Year for 2023. It also awarded gold to its 2017 Mourvedre; silver to its 2017 Cinsaut and 2020 Pinot Noir; and bronze to its NV Ranger Red. Chris Johnston is the wine maker.
