The Art Alliance of Idyllwild presents its 19th annual Art Walk and Wine Tasting combining the best of both wine and local art.

The highly popular event, held this year on Saturday, Oct. 8, brings loyal tourists from off the Hill and Idyllwild locals together to appreciate local galleries and art hot spots, and to savor wine from area vintners.

This year, 18 wineries attend and pour for patrons at participating galleries and art hot spots. Participating wineries from Temecula are Baily Vineyard, Bel Vino, Callaway Vineyard, Danza del Sol, Falkner, Hart Winery, Cordiano Winery, Roadrunner Ridge, Maurice Car’rie, Miramonte, Monte de Oro, Wiens Family Cellars and Wilson Creek.

From Escondido are Cordiano Winery and Orfila Vineyards; from Julian is Volcan Mountain Winery; from Warner Springs is Shadow Mountain Vineyards; and from Idyllwild is Chris and Melody Johnston’s Middle Ridge Winery.

Tickets for the event are over 75 percent sold as of this writing. For more information about the event and to purchase tickets, visit www.artinidyllwild.org. Online ticket sales close on Wednesday, Oct. 5, but are still available until Friday at the Town Crier.
