Inland Empire teachers and graduate students interested in attending the Native American arts and cultures workshops this summer at the Idyllwild Arts Summer Program may be eligible for full scholarships.

The workshops are from June 18 to July 6. Both week-long and weekend workshops are available and cover a variety of art forms. The scholarships include tuition, dorm housing and meals.

The San Manuel Band of Serrano Mission Indians has made it possible for Idyllwild Arts to offer full scholarships

The summer program will offer many Native American art workshops, including Navajo weaving, Northwest coast hand drums, Tohono O’odham Basketry, horsehair miniatures, Yucca plaques, Hopi pottery (polychrome), Cahuilla style pottery, California native plants (medicinal uses) and many more opportunities.
