Independence Day Parade held July 3
There is some good news after a bit of uncertainty as to whether or not the county would issue a permit for this year’s Idyllwild Rotary Independence Day Parade. Idyllwild will have an Independence Day Parade this year.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 3.
It will begin at Fern Valley Four Corners and come down North Circle Drive, ending at The Fort.
Some of this year’s participants include Mayor Max and his deputies, American Legion Post 800 Honor Guard, Idyllwild Actors Theatre, The Cowboys, Hemet Jeep Club, Idyllwild Garden Club, Diamond Valley Arts Council, Riverside Mountain Rescue Unit, Mountain Disaster Preparedness, ARF, Idyllwild Community Center, Idyllwild Fire Department, Cal Fire, Hemet Sheriff patrol vehicles and a bagpipe band.

Donations for the parade to offset costs such as road clean up before and after the parade, portable toilets, a PA system for announcements and advertising can be sent to P.O. Box 152, Idyllwild CA 92549.
