Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” the ARF cats welcomed Candy to the ARF cattery and celebrated the adoptions of all the kittens.
Phil: Easy come, easy go!
Harley: You must be talking about the kittens.
Phil: That’s right. Just as in past years, early summer has us hopping with kitten litters. ARF got another litter just days ago.

Don: And as usual, they are so very cute.
Harley: The mama cat is so friendly! She will make a great family member.
Candy: And I’ve seen those babies. Wow, they are so adorable.
Phil: They’ll be ready to go to their forever homes in a couple of weeks.
Candy: There are five of them, but one has already been spoken for.

Pepper: That was quick! So who is still looking to be adopted?
Candy: There are four, all boys. You’ll have to sneak in to meet Zeus, Loki, Atlas, and Apollo.
Whiskers: So, no dogs atARF?
Candy: Not at the moment. But just give it some time!
Don: Meanwhile, the focus is all on us cats.

Phil: Considering we cats are good for a person’s physical and mental well-being, we should be adopted in no time!
Don: I hope you are correct, Phil. Although it is so lovely here at the ARF House, a family to call my own would be the best.
Pepper: Gotta agree with you, Don. A family to call my own would be a dream come true.

Be sure to keep up with the animal antics of “Days of our Nine Lives” each week. And please stop in to say hello to the entire adoptable cast at the ARF House, 26890 Highway 243.
