Steele T30 at Rocket; plays next in FedExCup play-offs
Brendan Steele finished in a tie for 30th place last week at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit, posting an 11-under par 69-69-67-72 — 277.
The Idyllwild native’s drives averaged over 320 yards while finding 66% of the fairways, and he hit a sparkling 87.5% of the greens in regulation, but his putter cost him a bit over three strokes against the field.
Brendan is in 57th place on the FedExCup points list and stands 111th in the Official World Golf Ranking.
B is taking this week off but will play next week in the FedEx St. Jude Championship on the TPC Southwind course in Memphis Tennessee, the first of three tournaments in the FedExCup Championship playoffs that will close out the 2022 PGA Tour season.
