Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF cats and kittens complimented each other, knowing they would soon be adopted.

Harley: Aren’t you all so happy that you live in a safe, indoor location?
Phil: No kidding. After experiencing the storm from inside the ARF cattery, I’m even more glad to be here than before.
Harley: Hopefully, all dogs and cats are indoors.
Rosy: On another note, did you hear that Michael the dog was adopted?
Katnis: That is fabulous news!
Phil: And I heard that ARF took in another dog last Thursday, and it was also adopted Saturday.
Pepper: Wow! Great day for ARF!
Lilac: And ARF also got yet another dog named Paul.
Katnis: And is Paul ever friendly to us cats.
Paul: (creeping into the room) Are you talking about me?
Don: We are! Paul, please tell us all about yourself.
Paul: Well, I’m about 8 years old and very easy going. I like dogs, cats and people.
Lilac: You’re so cute, Paul. I’ve also heard that you are very easy on a leash.
Don: Aw, heck. He’s easy about everything.
Paul: I am just very easy-going. All I want is a nice lap or comfy spot on the sofa, next to my person.
Don: So you would be comfortable in a quiet home?
Paul: Yes, I’d love to be part of a family that wants a loving, loyal companion.
Phil: You should find a home pretty quickly.
Paul: I hope so. I just want to give my love to someone special.
Carrie: And I certainly hope that those who are looking for a kitten or cat find us soon. We have lots of love, and entertainment, to give.
