BlackjackWhat a busy week for goodbyes at the ARF house. Feather, our terrier mix, has found love with her new pack. The last two “Girl Scout” kitties, Fire and Spit are snuggled in their new cattery with their forever human. And Reily, our German shepherd mix, wagged and talked her way right into her new forever hearts. Teddy Cooper, the Pomeranian will enjoy his new digs on Friday.
That leaves Blackjack, our one-year-old, male tux a bit lonely. Still loving to play, he is looking for a home with other four-leggeds — felines preferred; however, Blackjack is OK with canines, too. Blackjack minds his manners, he is not vocal, and lives to play hide and seek.
NellieAbandoned in the ARF yard, Nellie is our sweetheart papillon mix. She’s had her diva day at the groomers, so get that pretty pillow ready for this pretty girl. She’ll sing for her supper, and then snuggle in for a good nap. Nellie likes a slow walk, with rest areas in between, loves food, but most of all she likes to just flash those great eyes and make you fall in love. Unlike a diva, Nellie is willing to share her forever home with other four-leggeds. She is sure someone has a space for her and her pillow.
