Born Carole Ann Kutniewski May 11, 1940, and raised the youngest of three with one brother and sister on the family farm in Binghamton, New York, Carole Duntley was a farm girl at heart with a determined personality and deep love of animals and natural, open spaces.

Preceded in death by her siblings and two husbands, she is survived by three nieces and two nephews.

She lived most of her adult life in Bend, Oregon and Southern California on beautiful ranches, her last being over 25 years among us here in the San Jacintos at the 100-acre ranch she built in Mountain Center where she enjoyed life devoted to her beloved rescue horses and dogs.

She lived her final years in Temecula where she was blessed to be cared for in her own home by her devoted team of lady caregivers and in whose care she passed from this life, but she loved her visits back home to the mountains for lunch with friends and neighbors at her favorite local restaurants.

Our dear friend and neighbor Carole was called home by the Lord Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, after a long and brave battle with dementia. Please join us for Carole’s funeral mass at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6 at St. Catherine’s of Alexandria Catholic Church, 41875 C Street, Temecula.
