Hemet High Mountain Biking

mtn.bike — Emma Klingaman, Hemet High School, finished second overall in last week’s Power the Pinnacles mountain bike race at Lake Arrowhead. Emma helped lead her Hemet High School team to its third consecutive SoCal Cycling League team title. Emma’s time this year on the same course was nearly 10 minutes faster than last year. The last week of volleyball kicked off with a game Monday between the Idyllwild Garage and Forest Lumber. The Garage played relaxed since they had already wrapped up first place for the playoffs. The Garage won the first two games but Forest Lumber came back to win the third game with great teamwork. The Garage went on to win the fourth game and the match. (25-16, 25-17, 20-25, 25-19)
