Local composer Peter Davison received another nomination from the Hollywood Music in Media organization, for best classical composition, “Mount Tahquitz” from his CD “Forest Home.” Nominations were announced in February and the awards ceremony takes place in Hollywood in November. Davison has been nominated in the past and has won in a number of categories at past ceremonies. He has previously won at the Music in Media awards in 2010 for best song, “Sip of Wine,” from his CD “Future, Present, Past,” in the new age category.
