Town Crier learned that Tawny Crist, 71, of Banning, formerly of Idyllwild, died in a two-vehicle collision after her car drifted off the roadway, hit a tree, flipped and slid into an oncoming vehicle. Two people in the other car suffered minor injuries. The crash occurred near Lagunitas in Marin County, California, Friday evening.
