

Banning bests Idyllwild in volleyball

Football players, band members and cheerleaders from Tahquitz High School participated in this year’s Super Kids Bowl. Started by Idyllwild School Principlal Matt Kraemer (on right side of photo behind Titan mascot, with fist raised), the event gives every severely disabled student from the Hemet Unified School District a chance to score a touchdown and become the star of the game.
The Idyllwild School Girls basketball team lost their first game of the season yesterday. Noli School beat them 28-18 in the season ending game. Coach Holly Guntermann was pleased with the 8-1 record and is looking forward to next year’s season.

The Idyllwild School Boy’s varisty completed its season with a 30-21 victory over Noli School. The team finished the season 7-2.
In the Labor Day weekend game between Palm Springs Subaru and Idyllwild’s Pacific Slope team, plenty of action took place at home plate. The tournament is a benefit for the Idyllwild School sports program.
