Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” Panther announced Little Girl’s adoption.

Panther: We have a new dog!  Everyone get in here to meet the new dog!

Panther

Shay: Yippee! Another dog! Who is it?

Panther:  Meet Baby.

Baby

Baby: (enters room) Hello, everyone! I’m Baby, and I’m very happy to be here.

Mr. Gray: Nice to meet you. What’s your story?

Baby: I am a 2-year old Poodle/Chinese Crested Powder Puff. I was in a pretty neglectful situation, but now I’ve been groomed, I’ve seen the vet and I’m with a loving foster.

Indigo: Good for you. You are very handsome.

Baby: Thanks. I want a forever home with a person who wants a full-time companion. I really like to have lots of attention. I’m a devoted

friend and good at traveling in the car.

Shay: Well, I don’t need as much attention as you do, but I do want an active family with a big, fenced yard. I love to hike and go for walks.

Pepper

Indigo: Two great ARF dogs to join our amazing group of cats. What about the kitten?

Panther: Fortunately, a foster stepped up to take him home until he is old enough to join the cattery, but …

Pepper: Let me guess. The foster is falling in love with him.

Panther: Pretty much. He might be staying there.

Pepper: But you know, more kittens are on their way to ARF.

Indigo: So I’ve heard, but they won’t be here for another week or so. Stay tuned!

Be sure to keep up with the animal antics of “Days of Our Nine Lives” each week. And please stop in to say hello to the entire adoptable cast at the ARF House, 26890 Hwy. 243 on Saturdays 10-4 and Sundays 10-2, or by appointment M-F by calling 951-659-1122.

Creature Corner is sponsored by Carole Herman & Sandi Mathers.
