Long-time Idyllwild resident James A. “Jim” Pomeroy Jr. passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2019.
Jim worked 50 years for the Dodi Searl Family Trust in Hemet.
After partial retirement in 2013, he spent every day at the Mountain Center Café, becoming like family to the Pearsons and Johnstons, and all the regulars at the cafe.
Jim is survived by sister Debra Warner; brother-in-law Bruce Shambaugh; nephews David (Ginger) and Stan (Gloria); and grandnephew Phillip and grandniece Charity. His sister Linda preceded him in death.
A memorial is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at the Mountain Center Café. Come help us celebrate Jim’s life.
