ICC’s Stephanie Yost appointed to First 5 commission
Idyllwild Community Center Board President Stephanie Yost was appointed to the First 5 Children and Families Commission by the county board of supervisors at its Tuesday, Feb. 2 meeting.
“I was both honored and excited when Supervisor Chuck Washington’s office contacted me regarding an appointment to represent Riverside County District 3 to First 5 Riverside Children and Families Commission,” Yost told the newspaper. “Having worked for many years in educational products for early learners, I feel passionate about the commission’s commitment to supporting young children’s development during those critical first five years of growth.”
Proposition 10 (California Children and Families Act, passed November 1998) funds the commission.
