The sun rose and the world welcomed Dixie Janet Harlowe Jan. 25, 1932. And that day the world became a little brighter. Most recently, Janet resided in the cozy community of Idyllwild with her husband, Henry Herbert Harlowe.

During the morning hours of Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, Dixie Janet took her last breath in life’s journey, surrounded by her loved ones. She lived a full and warm life, filled with joy, love and kindness.

She will be fondly remembered and missed. Dixie Janet is survived by her husband, her brother, sister and sister-in-law, as well as four children, five grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family are encouraged to donate to act.alz.org, arborday.org or a charity of their choice in her name.
