As of Sunday, May 19, Caltrans Constuction on route 74 bridge retrofit at Strawberry Creek will shift gears to the opposite lane.Crews have completed pouring the eastbound abutment and retaining wall for strawberry Creek as of the 19th, additional work includes upgrades with slab overlay, new guard rail systems on the existing bridges, and bringing lane and shoulder width up to current standards. Traffic control will remain the same as it has been just utilizing the opposite lane now as Constuction moves to the other side.Unfortunately, there are quite a few months left to complete overall construction on this project.
