Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported a body was found at Lake Hemet Campground. Daniel Raridon, 48 of Hemet, was found at 7:57 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21 in a tent at the campsite. Authorities do not suspect foul play at this time. Hemet Station Special Investigations Supervisor Sgt. Wallace Clear said that Raridon had been camping with two other friends, and that when one of the campers went to rouse Raridon Tuesday morning, he found him non-responsive with no pulse. Sgt. Clear said the investigative report noted that certain pre-existing health issues may have contributed to Raridon’s death. The Sheriff’s Department said an autopsy has been scheduled.

The Coroner’s press release lists a “date of injury” as Monday, Feb. 20 without explaining what injury may have caused death.
